Wishing each and every one of you a joyus and happy holiday, and hope that the New Year brings you all the fabric that you can sew!

Dean got all the fixin's for a whole quilt, can hardly wait to see it!

Linda got a book and some fabric panel, can't you just see those wheel's turning, wondering what it is that she will be doing next?

If we are not careful, Carol is gonna end up over in China with all the Asian fabric that she is getting. She has made some of the prettiest things with her asain fabric.

Well now, doesn't Sheri just take the cake!

Just what Lisa needed, more yard art! She just love's it...and a little birdie told me that Rick loves it Too!

Our fearless leader made a haul, (which by the way you don't have to do) and she was so glad that she didn't have to share the truffles with all you guys, and by the way they were to die for! I'm looking forward to a wonderful year this next year and hope that we will be able to do alot of fun things. By the way...I have some really big news!!! Can hardly wait for the next meeting.

Trudy and her Beautiful Necklace, we do hope we see more of you this next year!

Even Caleb got some goodies, and with Mimi's help he had lots and lots of fun!

Okay Barbara- You have got to share- or Santa won't bring you any more goodies! We sure are gonna miss you next year, but hopefully you will be able to drop in a time or two, but at least you will be able to keep up with us throught the blog. We wish you and Darrell health and happiness and do hope that you will keep us informed on how he is doing.

Are these for Me?

This is a crazy quilt that Rita is doing for Patricia, you really missed something if you weren't there to see it. Rita has really out-done herself with all the hand-work and embroidery on it!
Patricia got the most wonderful birdhouse, from Susan, she had Burt build it and Danielle did the painting and decor on it. It was something to see!

Our own little elf is all decked out for the holiday's with the help of Mimi.

We missed not having Susan at the party, but she had to take her daughter to the airport, but had her there in spirit. Her birthday is coming up in January, so don't forget about it!

Miss Betty got some really cool threads, and that's something that she can always use!

Rita got the cutest nativity set of puppy dogs, how many does that make now? I think I heard her say 300 something!

After everyone had filled their tummies, it was time to get down to some serious present opening!

We've been waiting all year...

Seven of the ladies started a Round Robin back in February, and we finally got to un-veil the masterpieces at our Christmas Party. It is truly amazing how all of us can do such amazing work on each other's projects. This was my first time doing a Round Robin, and it has really helped me grow, and helped me to get out of my box, and try something different. I hope all you ladies are pleased with the results. I say we do it again, But Lisa says to wait till after the wedding, which one Lisa, your daughter or mine LOL>

This one was done for Lisa's daughter Nicki, and I think that she is just gonna love it. That's a woodland fairie in the center, and all the color's that surround it are so soft and relaxing.

Hey Leslie- What's black and white and red all over? Your awesome looking round robin, of course. It's amazing the visual effects that you can get from just 3 colors. I think I'm gonna have to give that a try.

Wow! Is Sheri proud of this! It's amazing how after going through 7 different people, that we can create such an awesome looking piece of work. I think Caleb like's it too!

Trudy's ready to head for New Orlean's with this one! She did such a wonderful job on the applique in the center, and the party mask tell the whole story. Throw that girl some beads!!!

Terry's Butterfly dance, that's what I will call this one. It's hard to tell, but those are praire points in beige on the striped fabric, after it is quilted, I was given some turquoise beads to tack down the points. Doesn't the applique of leaves make it POP!

This was way different for Lisa, but her tree really does stand out on this, and the fall colors make it feel so warm.

Linda's- the purple's and green's are awesome, not sure what the block is called that borders it with the white, but it sure does make the center block POP!

Christmas Party 2008

The food, the fun, and boy was Santa good to all of us. We had

our annual Christmas party on December 10th, and our little

room was about to burst at the seams with all the fun that we

had.

Happy Birthday Dean

We celebrate a birthday once a month and this month it was

Dean's turn. A wonderful time was had by all, and we had

a wonderful dessert, supplied by Lisa. Dean is our resident

jewelry maker. Last year she showed us how to make a

Santa out of a gourd. She has made all of us a pair of earring's

or a braclet, and somehow she seems to know just what we

like. I think one of Santa's helper's has been helping her out.

Boy, did she make a haul or what? Most of her gifts centered around "Chicken Stuff" but alot of fabric and jewelery.

Dean got alot of wonderful gifts, although most of her gifts centered around "Chicken Stuff" and so many patterns and fabric's.We know that she will be busy over the Christmas Holidays!

Boy...did she make a haul or what!!!
